Big Bend National Park
March 8-11, 2007Surprisingly, this park might rank in our top 10 for the trip. It's out of the way and somewhat desolate, but we enjoyed being in the desert again and hiking in the mountains. We also enjoyed being in the 1500-foot deep Santa Elena Canyon, which offered a nice respite from the heat.
